Should Road Island tax a non-resident who only works from home in NH?

RI Instructions are not clear, and no allocation screens are available in Lacerte,

Hello @trapprain,

In order to get the allocation fields to display in Lacerte Tax, the return would need to be marked as Multi-State on Screen 1. This will allow you to set RI specific amounts for various income sources. Those items sourced to RI will show up on the RI Schedule II of the RI-1040NR. You will need to have both NH and RI added as states. For more information on allocation, see this article.
