How to merge 2017 individual tax files into Lacerte's newly downloaded 17TAX file.

Did you acquire a new set of clients with their 2017 returns?

I am unsure of your question. Do you have a backup on some drive of a 17TAX directory? If so, you would start the 17tax program, then use Ctrl + R to restore from that other directory. You need to do this for each type of return (Individual, Corp, etc.)
