    Nope, they renamed the checkbox, but it has different (and incorrect) functionality.

    If the box is checked and direct debit is specified, then another critical diagnostic appears, saying that you have to decide which payment method is going to be used.  You need to uncheck the box to continue to e-file without disabling error checking.

    If the box isn't checked, I have no idea how Lacerte will record and pro-forma that the client now needs to make electronic payments for the rest of their lives, unless appealed.

    I couldn't get Lacerte support to understand this goof.
