Critical diagnostic in 2021 Lacerte says:
If the taxpayer reported tax exempt income from the forgiveness of a PPP loan in a prior year, a statement may need to be attached to the return for each tax year in which the taxpayer is applying Rev. Proc. 2021-48, sections 3.01(1), (2), or (3). Please use the input fields in miscellaneous screen to complete the statement.
Why are there input boxes for tax year 2020 in the 2021 program?
How do you clear the diagnostic without entering data in the boxes for both tax year 20 and 21 ?
