REF #50581. RITA instructions on Section B of Form 37 Diagnostic HELP
First time dealing with the issue as I am an IL preparer and have client who moved to OH and in a RITA municipality.
Critical Diagnostic:
"Per RITA instructions, tax withheld for your resident municipality in Section B of Form 37 must be limited to the taxable income multiplied by the resident municipality tax rate, minus the credit taken for taxes paid to other municipalities. Any excess withholding should be redeemed by filing Form 10A. (ref. #50581)
How do I clear this? We do not have any excess withholding and if I enter a 0 in where it takes me that does not clear the issue.
