Proforma from 2019 to 2020

Is the Proforma from 2019 to 2020 working? I see instructions on how to perform the function but when I go to 2019 Program and attempt to create the 2020 Proforma the program says it will be release later in 2020.

Yes it works. I would not put it to work on a major scale yet. Try YOUR return to see how it works, mess with YOUR return in 2020 to see how it works, but wait til much later in the year to do proforma and organizer.
You likely need to update the 2019 program.

Last week I was able to roll over isolated files from 2019 to 2020 no problem. Now when I try to roll over single files from 2019 to 2020 it gives me an error message in 2020 that says “invalid format”. It leaves 2019 fine but doesn’t get into 2020. I'm hoping it's just a glitch right now - we need to do this with some files for Q4 estimated tax payments . . .

Somewhere there is a notice that both 2019 and 2020 need to be updated. If the search function worked I would point you to it.
