EFIN requires a physical address, but we do not receive mail at that address. Now my invoices are showing my physical address after my EFIN was compromised and I had to get a new one.
How can I just change my client invoice to show my mailing address?
You can't.
Intuit will only use the EFIN info & IRS requires a physical address.
I have the same situation; my solution is to add a blub just under the address on the invoice (edit invoice & add):
"I do NOT get mail to my physical address; please mail payment to PO Box xx, etc"
