PDFs attached but program says they aren't

I've attached a PDF to a 2020 amended return. When I click on View PDF it comes up, but it's telling me I haven't attached anything. Are there any issues like length of PDF, the fact that it's an amended return, etc.? Never had this happen before.

In case anyone else comes up with this problem:

I made a copy of both pdfs and saved them to a different folder. 

Went through the process of attaching them again and this time it worked.
