NOT CALCULATING LATE PAYMENT PENALTY

Lacerte is not calculating late payment penalty.   I am putting a 1 in the box on screen 8 and putting a date in the box labeled filing date.     Lacerte is calculating it for the state .  Does anyone know why the late payment penalty?  It is calculating the interest on the IRS return,  just not the late payment penalty

It's working for me.

Do you have 'both' the interest and the late payment boxes marked in the area second from the bottom in Screen 8?

    Are they subject to it?

    As a percent, how much is tax paid timely/total tax due?

    The more I know the more I don’t know.
