How do I enter beginning accum depr for asset for NJ different from FED and how to get program to calculate NJ deprecation for 2019 on this asset?

To the right of each federal entry is a column for St if different. Put in the state method, life and previous depreciation for NJ. (you won't see the NJ dropdown unless you are doing multi state)
