NEED HELP WITH A DIAGNOSTIC

I am trying to e-file 2017 tax return for a deceased client and I am getting this diagnostic that states the year of taxpayer's date of death must equal either 2017 or 2018. Is there any fix to this diagnostic?

No, but stop trying. You can't efile any 2017 tax returns anymore. Only current year and 2 prior years.
