Need CA S corporate tax id number
How do I obtain a CA corporate tax id number, for a CA LLC electing to be taxed as an S Corporation in CA? I filed the 2553 and obviously, I only have a CA LLC file number, no corporate ID number since it indeed was formed as an LLC. I can't electroncially file the CA return without a CA corporate ID number. I can call the FTB but I'm hoping someone out there has the answer. Thanks!
