Missouri unemployment tax reduction
I am out of state preparer who's client lived in Missouri for a month before leaving. He received 14,000 in Missouri unemployment. How should I apply the Missouri reduction of 10,200 in taxable unemployment benefits. I applied it as a subtraction in Lacerte, but it only reduced the total Missouri income, not the taxable Missouri income.
