Will the new Maryland tax portal for individuals affect automatic 2026 estimated payments set up during 2025 tax preparation?

    It should not. The new portal is essentially an additional payment method. It’s possible there will be a posting delay for end of August payments during the cut-over, as mentioned here for E-Check: https://www.marylandcomptroller.gov/individualtaxhub.html
