Maryland 504 - Final Return for Complex Trust

I am filing Maryland Fiduciary Return - Final. This is a complex trust, not an estate, yet Lacerte keeps checking the box on the 504 for final return for a decedent's estate. MD does NOT have a final return box for trusts, and this is causing the return to be rejected. Any suggestions?

    File the federal return with the Final box checked.

    Then uncheck it and file the MD return.

    The more I know the more I don’t know.
