Lacerte Password

Does the password that we use to run Lacerte Tax Software and to login into our Lacerte online account have an age out rule (expiration date)? 90 days? 180 day?

    Yes... I 'think' it's 90 days.  It's automatic, and you are prompted when it is time.

      That was what I thought and my experience in the past. However, my last update on May 27, 2024.is different. The password continues to work until now. I always write down my password and the date I change it. So, I am quite certain of when my latest change is.

      Interesting.  I use a password manager on my phone that shows me all the dates I have changed my password since I started at this firm, since 7/11/22.  Typically it has asked me to change it every 3 months.  Yesterday, it had me change my password.  The odd thing is that the 3 month marker is tomorrow.  Hope it will not make me change it again tomorrow.
