Lacerte 2024 Tax Planner short cut won't open the program

I can get the tax planner 2024 software to launch via the Lacerte program tax planner icon inside the program but when I use the standalone shortcut from desktop or start menu nothing happens as it won't start the program. Tech support basically told me to restart the network server which I did but still nothing changed. Guess another round with screen share and tech support for an hour.

I ran WebSetup24.exe to update the tax planner to server to no avail.

Called tech support, screen shared and they told me to use Lacerte tool hub WebSetup/force on my workstation to install local version to network which killed the network program. So I had to rerun websetup to install network version. Do NOT install LOCAL version to server.

At this point I will just open Lacerte then use the icon to start Tax Planner 2024 as tech support after 2 hours was one giant waste of time.
