Question

Is there a worksheet for subtracting the Star rebate check amount from the real estate taxes on Form 196? Last year there was a worksheet.

    I don't do NY, but there is an input in Screen 53 for New York Other Credits > STAR credit received. Does that trigger the worksheet? 

    Look at your return for last year and check it's input.

    I put the amount where indicated on the Information worksheet, but it doesn't travel anywhere nor does it reduce the real estate taxes on the IT 96 form.

    Probably programming has not been fixed yet. In the program use Ctrl + L to open an e-mail to detail this to support, just to be sure they are aware of it.
