Is there a way to enter notes or reminders into a client, so that they will carry forward each year?

Is there a place in Lacerte where you can enter file notes and/or reminders that will carry forward each year? I find that, with a few clients, there are unique situations that don't present themselves in the return itself (or in the general information pages), and it would be nice to access them through Lacerte.

I'm probably out to lunch on this one, but thought I would throw it out there and see if maybe I'm missing something.

The screen number varies with each tax type, but NOTES is where you can accumulate notes about the client, contact, whatever.

Do you happen to know if there is a way to prevent the notes from printing with the client copy of the return? Lacerte treats the notes as part of the client return and the "Items to Print" options in Settings does not have a separate check box to suppress it. Frustrating.

It is part of WORKSHEETS, which you can elect to print or not. I think your idea of separating notes is a good one. You can put it out as a suggestion at https://proconnect.intuit.com/community/lacerte-tax-idea-exchange/idb-p/604

Give it a good title like "suppress printing of NOTES" short and easy to get the general idea. Then expound one what you want.
