Is it possible to transfer clients from the current tax year to the prior tax year?

I am trying to migrate a new client backwards, is that possible or do I have to start from scratch in the prior year?

No backsies. You get to do it again. 

I do different line shading in each year to help me remember where I am.  

Settings > Options > Fonts & Colors > Client List > Alternate Line Shading - select a color!
