IP PIN rejection for 2023 returns?

Since e-file opened yesterday, we've attempted to file a few prior year (2023) returns. Every single one was rejected due to missing IP PIN, even though the IP PIN is entered. Is anyone else encountering this?

    Wrong IP PIN?

    You need the one from the January 2025 letter.

      You have to use the newly issued IPPIN for 2025 filings.  Even though the return you are filing is a 2023 tax return... you need to use the IPPIN that was issued in 2025.
