Income/Expenses not flowing to CA Form 199

Hello,

We are preparing a 1120-H and for the state side, California Form 199 needs to be filed. We are able to generate the form but the Income/Expenses entered are not flowing to Retained Earnings on the balance sheet for some reason. So ending Retained Earnings is off by the Net Income for the year. Thank you.

I  don't think that has ever worked right.  i have always gone into Screen 37 and under adjustments to shareholders equity - ending put the current years profit or loss.
