    2022. That is a 2022 tax return.

     

    edit: I just now read that different entities can have different filing requirements.  So, this is a nuance that might need research.  However, I know that if your taxpayer is a corporation, then the tax return is a 2022 tax return.

    I'll add that while the entity files a 2022 income tax return, if the entity issues a K-1, that K-1 is reported on the individual's personal 2023 income tax return.
