I paid $14,080.for cooling system where do i post that to get that credit of $2000?

    Paid has nothing to do with the credit. It's "date placed in service."

    Which tax form are you preparing for your client? How did they prove to you that the system qualifies for the credit? Do you know which credit this will be? Is this commercial or residential property?
