didn't work; the opening screen shows 2021 lacerte individual tax. Went to client - tax type - only individual is bold, all rest including fiduciary are greyed out so cannot access fiduciary

You don't have this icon available? Maybe your version of Lacerte doesn't include Fiduciary or other returns? I'd call support and talk to billing.

Also consider referring this out if you don't plan to do a lot, as it may not be worth the fee. Don't tell your clients your software package won't let you. Just say you don't do fiduciary returns. You specialize, you aren't cheap. 🙂
