To get the program to report this as a commercial clean vehicle credit instead of the clean vehicle credit. You must skip Part I question 2 which asks "does the VIN belong to a clean vehicle placed in service during the tax year". Leave this question blank, the tax credit will show up in 8936 Sch A part V and on page 3 of Form 3800 line 1aa rather than Form 3800 line 1y. I hope this saves you several hours of agravation.
