How to limit notifications to critical items?

Is there a way to limit notifications to critical items?  I would prefer to not be harrassed with advertisements about this and that unnecessary webinar when I have no intention of participating.

I do want critical notifications.

      Use non-Intuit software?  🤣

      Yeah, I absolutely hate their constant advertising.  Generally, software with built-in advertising is free, but we are being scammed by paying for it.
