E-File > E-file support tools > Disable e-file Error.

Make *SURE* you are correct tho...this isn't necessary very often with Lacerte.

Critical Diagnostic 6865 won't allow a date of death for a client more than one year in the future. 

I'm trying to e-file a 2020 tax return for a client who passed away 01/09/22. She failed to file her 2020 tax return in 2021 due to her illness. 

The IRS doesn't require a paper filing for this tax return, why does Lacerte?
