How is a Call reported on Schedule D/form 8949?
I have a client who received form 1099 from his brokerage accounts, two of them. They both contain negative sales and the description is that they are calls. When I enter them into the Lacerte system, it says they are not allowed and the return cannot be electronically filed. Is there another way i can enter these into the system, like maybe showing them as just cost basis and not sales?
