How do you split gifts before the date of death and then don't split gifts after date of death for surviving spouse?
Wife died in August 2021 with both taxpayers making gifts to family member before death. Would like to use gift splitting before death. Surviving spouse made additional gifts after death to family members which should not be split. How is this handled by Lacerte?
