How do you enter information for line 11 (Enter average annual gross receipts) on California form 3523 Research Credit

      1. Right-click on Line 11 then click Jump to Input field
      2. The amount you input into Total qualified research expenses for the prior three tax years on the 3523 input sheet detail will flow to to Line 11 when “2” is input into Electing alternative simplified credit

      As to whether “total research expenses” should flow to  Line 11  “Average annual gross receipts”, is another matter!
