how do I modify cost bais on CA form 3805E in Lacerte?
I have an installment sale with basis difference from Fed to State; although State difference does not carry over to CA form 3805E.

Hi, you will use the State, if different field on the disposition screen 17.1 for the installment sale asset. Please see the attached example. Once all of the installment sale information is entered, this field will flow to Form 3805E, Line 8.
