How do I get a Detroit MI non-resident income tax return

I have a client who is a resident of Royal Oak MI bur works in Detroit and has Detroit tax withheld. We need to file a return and besides get a refund

Go to screen 54 and add a city on the left side. For city name choose Detroit. In the field below (Residency) choose taxpayer and spouse are both non residents. That should give you the form 5119 for non residents.

    That is about half of the battle; the other is that on the wage schedule you need to put MIDET on the wage  schedule where i t asks for locaton. Not Detroit or midetroit or anything else. Thenit works
