Question

How can we indicate in Lacerte the disaster relief filing and payment deadlines for a Texas resident (filing and payment dates ext to 6/15)? Letter still show 4/15

If it's just the letter you want to change, you can bring the letter up in the Forms view, right click on the page and it will take you to a document editor where you can change dates manually.  The downside is that the program will save this letter and it becomes static, it will not update to reflect any other changes made within the year.  So it you use this method, do it last before printing and saving.
