please let know how can I send tax return by e file due to late filing

Lacerte doesn't care that it is late. Just e-file. If you are worried about late filing fees and interest, the program can compute, but my inclination is to let the taxing agencies bill the client. Be sure to let them know the notice will be coming.

    As long as it's a 2018, 2019 or 2020 return, @George4Tacks is correct.   Happy efiling ..
