Form 8903 Domestic Production Activities Deduction Line 25 is funneling directly to Form 1040 Line 10 when instead it should be going first to line 36 Schedule 1 per irs?
Form 8903 IRS instructions directly state that line 25 of Form 8903 needs to flow directly to line 36 of Schedule 1 of form 1040 thereby affecting adjusted gross income. Lacerte presently has it go directly go to line 10 of Form 1040 taxable income. This is incorrect and will cause problems down the line. Just a heads up.
