Form 8283 input showing up in wrong place on form
For Form 8283, I have marked the box that a "family pass-through entity made the non-cash contribution" in entry screen 26.4. Page 1 of form 8283 correctly shows the box marked at the top, but this also causes the number 1 to show up on page 2, Part II line 4b(2)-the amount claimed as a deduction for any prior tax years. This section and line are for a completely unrelated category of contribution-transfers of partial interests. Tried to override the 1 by entering something in the actual input for for this line but it does not change. Why is this happening and how do I get rid of?
