Form 2848 diagnostic ref #59056

I got a Lacerte diagnostic ref #59056 after I filled in the POA Form 2848. It says an entry must be made in "Access my IRS records via an Intermediate Service Provider". I am filling out the POA after the 1040 has already been filed, with plans to file an amended return and have POA if needed. Can someone tell me what the diagnostic means?

Look at the actual 2848. It is one of the options available. Based on why you are getting the POA, you probably don't need/want that.

    You're right. I don't want it. But it came out as a critical diagnostic, even though I did not check the box.
