Form 172 NOL Carryover calc

Anybody know how to force the Form 172 to generate in the Lacerte program?

I don't think you can.  The program generates a Form 172, however, it is populated with the current year data.  Check the "Show all" box in the left hand area that shows the forms.  There is a Form 172, but again it's for the current tax year. 

The diagnostic is saying to fill out a prior year Form 172 for each deduction that originated in prior years.  I went back to the loss year, printed the NOL Worksheets (which is basically the same as the 172) and manually typed the numbers into a Form 172 pdf from the IRS website.
