Question

Form 1041 (Trust) has credit carryforward (Form 3800) - work around for form not provided?

Carryforward of small employer healthcare credit (Form 8941).  Would be on Form 3800 which is not released yet.  Called Lacerte that said it would be in the next release for Trusts (Form 1041), yet 2 releases later, not there.  Is there a workaround?  Is anyone else awaiting Form 3800 for a Trust?  Can I just footnote if we get too late?  Beginning to think not on their list...

Hi @loricpa100. It looks like the date for this form got pushed back. On the Forms Finder page it says 3800 for 1041 will be ready on 3/25/25. Keep me updated if you're able to access it after tomorrow's update.

Alas, that update did not solve the problem.  They keep giving me dates of updates that will and it does not.  So how to work around and / or push up the Intuit / Lacerte list?
