HOW TO MOVE A FIXED ASSET FROM ONE LINE TO ANOTHER

      YES, SAY A NEW ASSET IS ENTERED AS NUMBETR 110, AND I WANT TO MOVE IT BETWEEN ASSETS NUMBER 65 AND ASSET NUMBER 66

      ITS A GROUPING ISSUE, WANT TO GROUP ALL ASSETS RELATED TO THE SAME DEPRECIATION SCHEDULE BY NAME, ITS ALREADY GROUPED BY TYPE OF ASSET

        I'm not sure what you mean.  By name - does that mean by activity, say 2 or more Schedule Cs? If so, choose the activity on left side to ensure that the asset is linked to that activity.

        have never needed to group this way. The printed forms group them.

        Could you download it, put it in Excel, sort and group as desired, then import it back to LC?  

        This can be done in ProFx. I don't know about LC.
