Export to file - the shareholder/partner information for BOI filings

When will you have availability to export to file the shareholder's/partner's information for the BOI filings?

Set up an ODBC connection for the year & module you need, then open either the database file (probably Data2) OR the client detail file to access and be able to copy/paste the info.  I looked at the business modules at one point, and one of the two (either Partners or Officers) is in the database, so easy to copy multiple rows at once like a spreadsheet, where the other is recorded in the tax detail file, so a lot harder to work with...  but still possible.

As an addendun: if what you're looking for is a calculated field it may not be visible as I described with an ODBC connection.

 

If it shows on a form or statement somewhere, you may need to print that to PDF and then copy that page's content into your spreadsheet to work with.
