I would be grateful if someone can explain the procedures involved to accomplish paying electronically the extension balance due for NYC UBT. Thank You!

What at module are you using? 1040, 1065, ect.

To generate NYC-202 for a Sole Proprietorship

Go to Screen 16, Business Income (Schedule C).
Scroll down to the New York Information section.
Check the box New York City unincorporated business (code 96).
Go to Screen 54.094, NYC Unincorporated Business (Taxpayer), or Screen 54.095, NYC Unincorporated Business (Spouse).
Complete any necessary entries that do not flow automatically from Screen 16, Business Income (Schedule C).
Note: The Business Information section automatically flows to Form NYC-202 from Screen 16, Business Incomes (Schedule C).
Go to screen 3.
Go to the section for New York City UBT Direct Deposit/Electronic payment.
Under extension enter 1 for electronic payment with extension.
