Electronic Payment Date

With the American Rescue Plan extending the tax payment date to May 15, 2021, how do we indicate this date in Lacerte?  Screen 3 of the software will only accept dates up to April 15, 2021.

    You can't. IRS said they are not going to update their efile system for the May 17 payment date (just the filing date). 

    Client can pay on April 15 thru the software or use IRS Direct Pay to pay on May 17.

    The more I know the more I don’t know.
