eFiling form 1310 with Final 1040

Can Form 1310 be efiled with a final Form 1040 for a deceased taxpayer?  Part 1 Box c is checked. The taxpayer left a will.  The court has not appointed a personal representative nor will one be appointed.

Hello @Dodgerfan 

This scenario should allow for electronic filing of the 1310. When Box C is checked, as long as the "Will pay out refund according to state law". The 1310 does show up in the Efile XML. There may be other diagnostics that need to be handled due to the nature of the 1310 (varying scenarios for electronic filing). For more information, see this article.
