efile short year 2023 after 2022 was efiled
In March, I e-filed a 2022 Trust return (1041). The trust was terminated in May. I want to e-file a short year return for 2023, but the Lacerte e-file system won't let me check the boxes on the e-file utility; the boxes for federal and state returns are blacked out. How can I e-file these returns, which are on 2022 forms?
