I am receiving a critical diagnostic warning that is preventing me from filing the 990-PF electronically. The ref number is 56030 and refers to the 990/990-PF return being missing and asks me to uncheck the box for federal filing in the client information section. How can I fix this?
1. Did you update your lacerte? There was an update about a week ago that eliminated the problem. Before the update, the diagnostic appeared for all exempt returns with 990PF.
2. If your have the most-updated version, click the diagnostic which may lead you to how to fix it.
