efile acknowledgements to clients

I am new to Lacerte this year.  My previous software sent the client a copy of their e-file acknowledgement upon acceptance by the IRS.  The default settings in Lacerte are not notifying the clients, and now they are calling and asking if their returns went through OK or not.

Is there a way to initiate this automatically?

No. There is no such automation in Lacerte.

Drake, UltraTax and CCH have this feature.  I think it should be an option in Lacerte.

More than ever this is an important feature that we need.  Clients are looking for common sense service and it will surely enhance our service.  This will be basic but a great way to show finality for our service that we provide.  Without this our responsibility to the client drifts.  They need to change this soon.
