E-filing instructions

I am new to Lacerte and want to e-file the individual return. I thought I went through all the necessary steps but the transmission failed. Where can I find step-by-step instructions on the process?

Generally, a "failed transmission" generates a report that will provide the specifics as to why the attempt to efile failed.

Highlight the client, go to E-file on the top menu bar, down to efile reports/message > view efile activity report.   THAT should give you some details as to the 'why'.
