e-file attachment - Form 8332 non custodial

I scanned and uploaded signed form 8332. There is a selection for form uploaded for Form 8332. In diagnostics says "attached to non-existent form".

When not selected as Form 8332, produces a form 8453 to mail in.

Seems if Form 8332 is attached to e-file, mailing with form 8453 should not be required.

Question:

How do I attach pdf of executed form 8332 to e-file of form 1040 so Form 8453 is not required, and do not get error message?

What did you attach to: 8332? If so, did you complete the input for 8332 in Screen 70?

You can e-file without the 8453. Keep trying

Two years ago (even years), I prepared a form 8332 for that year and all years until son is 18,v the ex-spouse signed, and I scanned an included as attachment under e-file attachment tab. If I identify the attachment as Form 8332, I get a diagnostic that I am attaching to a non-existent form. If I do not identify the attachment, form 4583 is printed.
